I assume the one that had to be reindexed got behind and is now catching up. But my friends-post alert is flashing like a maniac, I'm lucky if I can see one update now and then, and every other time I do a green-issues or a you-replied search I end up with data that's over an hour old (because I don't see issues I know should be there - and the next time I do it they've come back!).

Bah, bah, bah. Still, all the data's there. It's probably just a sign I ought to do something else for a while.

Sorry, that's not a formal term, I suppose. The Windows client, version 1.4.7 - the beta release - can be set to flash blue-red-blue whenever one of your friends updates.

It monitors a timestamp in the database to do this. Well, when the databases aren't in agreement, it gets very confused.... ;)
