Just in case you doubted, since I haven't written my usual mad spate of entries today. I didn't sleep well last night, nor long enough, and I've been sort of out of it today.
I left work a couple hours early. Between lack of sleep and allergies, my face felt like it was stuffed something awful and I couldn't think. This despite having taken my antihistamine as usual in the morning, and taking a decongestant at the time. After an hour, when it still hadn't manifested, I cleared out.
And realized I needed to pick up more antihistamine, which I'd ordered earlier this week. So I went to do that. So I got home almost an hour after I left work.
Proof positive my mind was not functioning well enough: I was way, way too hot and sweating when I got home. It was hot. The car was an oven.
Bright-child Laura forgot to even turn on the vent until she was five miles from home, never mind remembering that the car has, yes, air conditioning, which was one of the factors in deciding to buy it.
Oh, well. The heat didn't kill me or anything, and it was very nice to get home and out of the car after that.... Geesh!
And now, lest I feel tomorrow as I do today, I'm going to bed early.
