I'm awake this morning (finally, it took a while) and at work. And working with a tester/trainer who has been learning the system. I'm surprised to find that somewhere along the way, she's decided to ask me what I think of her documentation for this site - maybe just because I asked if we could have a copy of the procedure notes she made on the new version of Help & Manual, which we could really use, since she's the first to really get into it.
Maybe 'cause N is on vacation. Either way, it's kinda cool.
Got a "major" issue (on a test system so no one minded it waited a day or two) resolved in about five minutes, as expected. Passed the information on how to resolve it on to her - I can do it, but why should she have to wait on me if I'm away from my desk? (Which is what happened to her yesterday. Bah. By the time I got her message and called her, she was driving home, which is why I shrugged, called it a day - it was 5:30 or so - and did it this morning. She had indicated no one else was using the system yet.)
Whee, and a half. Early morning babblings. At least I have my music, and stuff to do, and not a major crash of stuff to do beyond what I can handle. That's really a lovely lot of blessings.
And Scott fed Dale's cats last night. (Dale was asked by the company to go out of town for three days, on less than 12 hours' notice. He had to fly out before the vet opened, so he couldn't board his cats.) Rob will feed them tonight.
Anyway, when Scott got home from that (they stayed to watch a movie, which they had prior permission to do - I suspect it was one I wouldn't want to see, knowing those two ;), he brought me a Subway Italian sub. So I have a really nice lunch for today, too.
