My brain is odd. I had strange dreams last night blending work, the new house, a roleplaying game, and luck.
Luck was very important. I had to have it to get the right numbers to get the tasks running (work) that would start doing stuff on the house....
Fortunately or unfortunately, this was on toward morning. I stirred restlessly and forgot bits periodically, and thus don't even have something that pretends to be an incoherent whole.
But I'm up and at least ostensibly awake. (Stayed up a bit late last night because I realized how to do something I wanted to do in my code for work, and put in some extra time. Bah!)
To do today: Work (probably a little late, to get more time back from Monday, still catching up). Call the guy who is doing the mortgage paperwork for us, make sure he got the stuff I dropped off, ask some questions, make sure he doesn't need anything else. Stop at the bank and get an application for a credit card, which I forgot to do yesterday. Grocery shop if I'm still that alive at the end of the day.
And then? Sleep, I think. I am gonna be very tired tonight, I suspect.
