I did this forgetting that we were celebrating the completion of our merger with another company and would therefore have food available. Of course, I was probably the only one who considered the "food" worthy to be a meal (veggies, crackers, chips, meat and cheese, fruit, and coffee cake? sounds like a meal to me), and if I had remembered it - not knowing what it would be - I would still have brought my lunch.
But it's good, because I'm still here. And lunch makes a pretty decent dinner, I guess.
I was doing some debugging. I resolved that. Everything else is resolved except we're moving stuff into a site, but the guy who was assigned to it is unfamiliar with it so I need to stay until we've confirmed this is good and he knows how to deal with it.
The good news is, that means I am just sitting here, browsing the web, not charging time. The company doesn't need to pay me to sit around, my brain turned off fifteen minutes ago, and it also gave me a chance to eat dinner.
Nonetheless, I had hoped today would deign to go a bit more smoothly. Ah, well.
