Thank heavens for bosses who pick up the ball and run with it. We're still fighting these bugs as best we can but I'm feeling a bit better about it at least.

Plus, I identified one big-bad "issue" as caused by the other "big-bad" issue plus a lack of a simple warning check. Added the warning before I could forget, and now have an issue to work on. Maybe two, but the other new one looks to maybe be caused by the first and can't be touched till the first is resolved anyway.
