First load of the day over to the new house. It really is pretty there. A couple blocks from the house by street and you're out of the city limits and into gorgeous (and I do mean gorgeous) countryside.
Last night, going to the house, I had a deer (looked like a young doe) cross in front of me, casual as you please. She stayed standing in the field she stepped into, just watching, as I drove past, too.
This morning, I saw "SW FROG POND LN" on a road sign (also very near my house). What a cool address that would be!
And finally, rainbow trout jerky is a bizarre concept (at least to me), but surprisingly nummy.
Home for a while now. Last round of laundry at this place, and packing. Whee. Lots of packing.
I also got a gift for the neighbor who's been so kind to us - it seemed appropriate.
