Mostly a good evening. No ViaVoice.

Hanging out with friends is cool. And I've gotten some stuff done. Listening to music and sitting around lazily right now, wandering over the web.

Pleased with it, generally. Not dictating to ViaVoice because it's Too Hot again and so there are fans (the living room where I could be more comfy is in use for the gaming session right now - I could go down there but I wouldn't want to go down there just to be on the net). If ViaVoice doesn't like my hard drive fan, it will hate an oscillating room fan.... *G*

Still, it's a neat toy. I want to get it broken in again, just not happening while the weather is so hot, I guess. Work today was really good - I got to do a lot of the stuff I enjoy about my job, and that's always nice. I didn't get to write code...but, I did get a major project dumped on my plate that does need my work on it, that's at a level (in terms of when it's needed as well as the actual project) where passing it off to a team member would be a bad idea.

I like this project. It needs to be done, it's a good idea. We'll see if I still like it after doing it, but, I like it right now.
