So far, so good. I didn't get into anything I tried to sign up for, so right now I'm waiting to try to duck into a game. No one is here for it yet, so I'll risk missing my chance to write. I've met
elfbabe and
therck - both recognized me (or their friends did) from my LiveJournal picture, either in or near the exhibit hall - talk about a crowded space. In both cases we chatted briefly and then needed to head out, but they're cool people (knew that before meeting them in person!) and I'll try to catch up with each later. (I was supposed to pass a message onto
therck and forgot, too. Darnit. I'll have to remember when I catch her later - which may be interesting since I have to find her at one of her games, but I know when they are and such.)
I'm tempted by some of the art and a few books, so far. And I will probably buy dice since I couldn't find mine before I left (a fact I conveniently remembered, not while near the people selling dice, but after I sat down at this table a full floor and many many people away from the dice...). So far, pretty good. May haul out the camera but still feel more like just looking at this point.

I was sorry not to see you again at the convention. Do you expect that you'll be going again next year? We haven't absolutely made up our minds yet but are kind of leaning that way.
