Our poor bank account, though. Ow.

It's a cleaner house, though. I've started a pick-up spree (which ends now so I can finish getting ready: Scott's parents will be here in a half hour). In this case, I'm ignoring tidying up stuff that belongs, and just finding and junking the trash. I remember the accumulation of ancient mail I had to throw out when we left the apartment. Never. Again. Please.

Feeling good about what I've gotten done, anyway.

My mortgage has an escrow account that takes care of the taxes; makes the monthly payment look a lot bigger, but at least it evens out the budget... ;^)

I considered that, but they charge a fee for it. The fee's not worth it to me; I don't want to pay extra for it. So I just budget for it. Like I said, we can afford it. Knowing that, and seeing the bill, are two entirely different things, though. It was definitely a shock! :)

I don't think it was optional on mine. Maybe I missed something in the fine print.
