Coming out of a hell week, I got most of my weekend to myself - I checked up on work things, but that was it. I actually roleplayed. I did some useful stuff in volunteer positions. I read a book. I took pictures.
I had a sore throat this morning; that stank, but it went away by noon. I wanted to go out and about town and I wanted to see Harry Potter; because I might have to do work-stuff, I didn't get to do either. That wasn't nearly as good.
Next week I have the after-hours pager, Monday to Monday. Feh. I'm owed some comp time, though - I'll have to work out how much with my boss. I'm guessing I can get 3 days' worth. I can't use it all next week, obviously. I don't know what I'll find Monday morning; Thursday and Friday are all-day meetings (joy).
But I might be able to get an afternoon or two next week to go do stuff (movie if Scott's available, other stuff if not). And I should be able to get time the following week. I've a friend who's in town starting Thursday, for a week and a couple days. I might get to actually see her.
I'm frightfully proud of the pictures I posted yesterday, actually. But now I want to do more photography. Wish me luck getting time to go anywhere - there's only so many pictures I can take from or of the house before I want to do something different. :P
