Okay, so I like showing off. These aren't as spiffy as the last set, in my opinion, but they amused me. As usual, click the little ones to get to the larger (not full-size - I take these at 1200x1800, which is way larger than looks decent in a browser) version.

I was in a silly mood, and I was (mostly) in Portland, so there you have it.

              

And this one, which is in Beaverton (near Powell's), seen through rainy windows. For some reason it amused me.

Nice pictures! Which bridge is that?

Thank you! You force me to admit my forgetfulness of the bridge names. That is the annoying one, that has two lanes in each direction, separated by the bridge structure (with the 'inner' lane in each direction side-by-side with a painted yellow line) and the VERY ANNOYING vibrating road surface. You know, the bridge I try never to get ONTO. :)

Ah, Hawthorne. That was my first thought, but the lift towers seemed too tall. Odd perspective, I guess....

I thought maybe you had found a new lift bridge. I only know of three in the Portland area: Hawthorne, Steel and Interstate. OK, four if you count the two directions of the Interstate Bridge separately. :-)
