trelana sent me a sweet card and a really cool Christmas ornament. I love it!
S'far as my own packages and gifts and cards.... On the one hand, this year I did Christmas gifts. Sometimes I don't. I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but this year I wanted to, and I did them.
On the other hand, I haven't sent them. I think they might be New Year's gifts, at this rate. I've got about half set to go. The other half are basically ready, but I ran out of tape, so I need to get more tape. Then I have to actually send them.
Plus, I need to do cards for some of the relatives. Except I misplaced the addresses. If I don't find them tomorrow, I'll scream to my parents for help. ;)
Hopefully, anyone who's package is late will forgive me for that.
Speaking of parents, I'm not mailing theirs. Dad wants to see my photographs, and I'm hoping I'll be able to drop by on the weekend or Monday and share photographs and pass along gifts.
I really did feel like a gift-giving Christmas. It's a strange thing, that, but kind of cool. I have to have these packed and moved by Wednesday morning, though, Scott's gaming group will be here Wednesday night and the living room looks like a staging zone for a mailing. Which it is, but....yeah. :)
I have the two gifts for the blind gift exchange at the work party. I think I ought to find a hostess gift, though, too, because this year instead of a restaurant, it's at one person's house, and while we're all bringing food...yeah.
I guess, overall, it's going pretty well. I'll get the rest of it done soon and the living room will look better then too. But I'm tired, and I'm out of tape, so it will have to look better tomorrow.
