...saved Scott from going to the grocery store today. He remembered to tell me, at about, oh, 2:00 in the afternoon, that we needed a little something, maybe a fruit tray, for his friends' party tomorrow.

There are a few things I would want to do less than going to the grocery store on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. Our local store closes at 8 pm tonight, so going in now or in a couple hours comes to mind. But....

Yeah. Still, I made it in and out. Took five minutes to park. They were, of course, completely out of fruit trays, veggie trays, meat-and-cheese trays, etc. My choice boiled down to a festive tray of nacho dip (that was the label), a tub of baked goods, or put-it-together. So I bought various packs of fruit, and will be assembling a fruit tray from that. Along with some meringue cookies because they amused me.

I survived. We have stuff. But aie, aie, aie. Scary.

Scott and I have now watched Lilo and Stitch together; he hadn't seen it before, and enjoyed it.

And apparently some of my packages have started arriving - and not just the ones I'd thought would, so that's cool. One's going out of the country; I'll be lucky if it arrives this week; but I dare to hope the rest will all be there by Friday, at least. Not feeling quite so bad about my shipping timing, though...yeah. But they went out! They are arriving!
