Got the stuff done I needed to. Well, mostly. *guilty look at pile of bills* None are overdue yet, I'll get to them tomorrow. And I'll have a new one; I do not have enough leisure time to spend it on these weeds, and more, I'm not confident with that part of gardening.
There's a fairly reasonable maintenance service that will deal with my lawn, flowerbeds, trees, and any new atrocities I may inflict. (Almost. Almost. Spraying my backyard to beat down the worst of it will cost extra, not too bad, and I don't think he wanted to contemplate the downslope blackberries. Fortunately, I didn't want him to deal with those either. The one-offs, I can handle. The maintenance, sucks.)
Annnnnd my Ashes to Ashes character is back in play. Only two scenes so far - one a brief scene with a player I've never met before (their character managed to make almost no impression on my character, but they made a very positive impression on me - well-handled, just no cause for more interaction). The other was a re-establishment scene with an old friend of the character, which was funny for all sorts of reasons.
And I am in play again, and I get to go out and play with old friends and new ones. I get to meet people, and take part in story.
But not tonight. 'Cos I sort of have work in the morning. Guess I'd like to be awake for that. :)
