99 degrees today. Breaking a record of 92, from 1978. I wondered if it would break the record high for the month, but it doesn't: that's 104, from June 23, 1992.
I hope we don't break it. So far, their forecasts have been low. Yesterday was 'cast as 93 and hit 95. Today was 'cast as 95 and hit 99. Tomorrow is supposed to be 93 and I am afraid it will be 95-ish again, but after that it droops to 83/76/73. THANK HEAVENS. This is too hot for June. (It's too hot period, really, but it's way too hot for June.)
Today went decently. Except for the heat thing, but I'm dealing okay with that now, I just don't like it. Knowing it should back off in a couple days and stay that way for a bit is nice.
