Theoretically, the Tuesday night game happens every other week. However, for the last three, it has not. The first time, Scott and I were back from GenCon late Sunday. One of the other players had told the GM we wouldn't be back in time for the Tuesday night game (where he got that idea, no clue), so they'd cancelled, but not told us since they figured we were the cause.
GM was deeply amused when we showed up, we hung out briefly and left. Following session, Scott was out of town, and when another player forgot, it doomed it. Tonight's session, neither of the other players showed up. One we had known wouldn't, the other we're still not sure why. But we hung out for a couple hours talking!
I sort of wish I'd known. Work today was long and a little stressful; I bolted from work to the grocery store to the game with my pre-made sandwich, I was that late, and had Scott grab my stuff. I can't say I wholly mind the excuse to eat the good bagel-and-cream-cheese turkey sandwich, but.....
