I kind of wanted a longer weekend, but not because I felt I didn't get one.More because I did, and it rocked so much that I'd like it to continue. That's okay, though, I have another one in a week and it won't even involve the cell phone.

Got two calls on it this weekend - the only two all week. Both were comparatively routine, known events with known ways to coax them back to behaving. Much to my pleasure, I got a good set of diagnostics off of one and recognized the other - I think I can fix it so it won't do it again at that site, when I get into the office ('cos it looks a lot like it will be addressed by a change someone else on the team made last week, that hasn't been put at this particular site yet).

Much roleplay. Laundry. Some reading. Working on a character for Teatime II - actually seems to be working thus far. Need to sketch in generalities and then solicit input from others who think they'd know her or be involved in her history, but this one's going to work, I think - very happy about that.

The DP Challenge winners for the "Sacred Places" challenge are gorgeous. Not so much photography lately, as I'm sure you noticed. I did take a picture of a gorgeous sunset last week, but it didn't turn out. I'm not worrying too much about the fact that I'm not taking pictures just now. I started to, then realized it was a bit silly. I'll get back to it. I don't love it any less. I'm just really going overboard enjoying my return to roleplay, which takes time - and it's winter, which means weekends are my only real chance for photographs, because it's dark or I'm working the rest of the time.

So I'll probably not be quite so burbly-photographer-ish for a while; some, maybe, but not as much.

And speaking of burbly, though not photography, I'm going to finish getting ready for work because in under two hours I get to hand the phone to some other lucky person! (Of course, I take the daytime pager this week. Sigh. But at least those come in during working hours.)
