Well, that was fun. Working from home after all....

Main streets are about like yesterday, as are side streets. Slushier, but neither particularly worse nor any better to drive. The highway was very clear.

The parking lot, however, combined the worst of yesterday with the worst of today. They had, it turns out, plowed out only the entrance itself. I was unable to park. I discovered several areas in the lot that are subtly sloped that I had not realized before, but even when it was level I had very little traction. I feared several times I would not be able to get out of what I started either, but each time I managed, and I managed to get out of the lot, though I had several dicey moments there too where if things had slipped a bit more I'd've been stuck.

So, I came home. That was enough adventure for one day, thank you, unless an emergency comes up I will just stay here.

Yeah, it's the end points --- parking lots and such --- that are the endgame problem. Another reason --- along with getting down and up Calkins --- I think I'll stay home again today.
