Too hot last night with the windows closed, so we opened them. I slept somewhat restlessly - too cold, then too hot - but not actually badly, just remember a lot of stirring and redistributing of covers as the temperature changed. Woke in the morning a bit before the alarm, the room bathed in the first light of sunrise, hints of orange to it, the birds singing morning-morning outside, the cool breath of morning air - cool, but not cold, wrong for this time of year but still kind of pleasant - breezing through the room. It was incredibly peaceful and pleasant.
Of course, I lay there enjoying it, dozed off again, and had to scramble out of sleep to kill the alarm a few minutes later. Sigh. :)
For the record, I am seeing all the "share a memory" and "invent a memory" memes. I am skipping the first - my memory is lousy and there are too many people on my friends list whom I've never met, where the only genuine memories are from online, often only from LJ. I may well do the second, however, I haven't had the creativity/focus needed to actually do any of them yet. I am keeping track of them, though.
Now to head to work....
