Good morning!

Onesome: Goodie-- What is your your favorite "goodie" you treat yourself to when you've finished a project or maybe even just survived a long day? Ice cream? ...a long bath? ...a good book?

Hrm. No idea, actually. I enjoy most of the things I like whenever it seems appropriate, I don't dole them out as "rewards" after things. I like good books, sweets (which I'm cutting back on, alas), hanging out online, and listening to music. But I don't really treat myself after specific events, I enjoy them when appropriate whether I've just finished something/survived a day or not.

Twosome: Two-- Quick! Two things that make you smile! No thinking, just write!

Scott. The morning light over the pasture. (The freshly-planted field is a sort of sea green in the early-morning sun right now....)

Threesome: Shoes-- ...and how about your favorite pair of shoes? You know, the ones you look for an occasion to wear! (Yes, guys that ratty pair of tennis shoes does count...)

Er.... Okay, people really do this? Sorry, but I think you're nuts. Every pair of shoes I own does its job, but I don't go hunting to wear them. (I wear my work shoes, which are businesslike and not suited for long distance walking, by far the most - but that would be because I seldom wear shoes at home and indoors, and I spend 40+ hours a week at work.)

Because I am restricted in what shoes I am supposed to wear, yes I do sometimes go looking for an occasion to wear others. Although "others" is mostly my Harley boots, which are not healthy for my feet/legs except that they have incredible ankle support. But they are heavy, heeled and have virtually no shock absorption so I shouldn't wear them often.

I also can't wait til it's the season for birkenstocks, but that's not really the same as searching for an excuse to wear them.
