Large parts of today sucked, mostly related to work. Some bits of that went well, just not nearly as many as I'd have liked. But it was beautiful out, the sun turning the grass into something amazing, something like a jewel that had sprouted up from the ground only more magical.
They finally started planting new flowers in the beds they ripped out and tilled up yesterday. (Routine replacement of "annuals" which last a few months at this complex...once the flowers are wilting, they trash them and put the next batch in.)
It really was a gorgeous day. I wish I'd been out in it more, but eh, that's life.
