Pictures! Gorge trip....

I drove up the Columbia River Gorge today, and took the historic highway. Indeed, on weekdays, you can stop at all the falls much more easily. Hee. It was very pretty. I then came back and tried the Gardens, but I was not real enthusiastic by then - the Gorge sort of overshadows the Gardens.

So, today, pics from Wahkeena Falls and vicinity are up. Multnomah Falls and a couple shots of Horsetail Falls will be added, but I've maxed my posting for today. They're on Buzznet and will show up at bn_kyrielle the next time the feed updates.

For now, I need sleep. Last night I had a nasty allergy attack around 2:30 that got me up, whereupon I found that our non-claratin antihistamines (read: the ones that pack a real punch and also tend to put you to sleep) were expired. Like, by nearly a year (I don't take them often). I was not happy. So, I threw those out and today got a new package. May they expire before I have to open the box. :P

This weekend is my last big hurrah. I think I'm on-call after-hours three of the next four weeks, if I remember the schedule right (all level 2, so I won't get many calls, but the Gorge is still too far away). The week that I'm not on call after-hours, I'm on-call for daytime - but, while that has more work involved than level 2, at least it's during business hours and when you leave - assuming you stay 'til the phone's off at 5:30 - you are free!! ;)
