There's a screen-saver for Windows that mimics the Sasser virus. Using it for a practical joke is tacky. 'Nuff said.

Getting things done at work. Yay, getting things done!

Doctor's office called and left a message. The mole they removed was totally benign. Yay. Now I just gotta wait for the spot it was removed from to finish healing, and fight the urge to pick at it. Sigh.

Grumpy about various things, none really important. Not grumpy about the new Nina Kiriki Hoffman, A Stir of Bones, but not as thrilled as I thought I'd be either. Got it yesterday from the library and read it in a gulp last night, then was too tired to write it up after. Wanted to reread the books written before it (but that take place after it, but that should be read before, I think, to understand it!). Was dismayed to find potential continuity glitches and areas that didn't ring true between the first of those books and this one.... I suppose they could be due to character memory but some are sure a bit odd. Mostly, A Stir of Bones was a decent book, but it didn't make me sit up and take notice as much as the others did. And in truth, I still like her other world (from The Thread that Binds the Bones and The Silent Strength of Stones) better.

There is wind. There is rain. It sounds beautiful. Unfortunately, there is also work in the morning, so I think I'm for shower and bed.
