Thursday Threesome. By the way, find and click on the link "lessons available" on the original page. It's classic.

Onesome: Learning-- Hey, what would you like to learn how to do this Summer? Learn to ride a motorcycle (like Sarah)? Learn PHP? Learn how to chill out and vegetate properly (lessons available )?

Hrrm. That's a good question, and not really one I've thought about. Most of my "me" projects this summer are not learning, but expanding (I want to write poetry again, I want to practice my drawing more). So I'll go with a work project: I'd like to pick up some new language or skill, quite possibly C# although I'm also considering the intricacies of perl (except that, while vaguely work-related, neither would be of any immediate use to me).

Twosome: to-- Too? Two? Okay, two things you are positively not going to learn how to do! Ever!

Ummm. I've discovered that saying I won't try something means that someday I learn it. The obvious answer is to give two near-impossibilities (I won't learn to soar through space with no protection, I won't learn to swim in the sun), but that's really cheating. So, I'm pretty sure I'm not ever going to learn how to fly an airplane, and I'm pretty sure I'm not ever going to learn how to perform surgery. I have no plans to, anyway. :)

Threesome: Ride-- Speaking of motorcycles: Do you ride? Did you ever ride? ...or do you just enjoy them? ...or maybe, "No way!"?

No way! I got to ride on a motorcycle once when I was younger, as a passenger. I remember being scared. It wouldn't take that to keep me off of them. Motorcycles are fast, scary, and I don't see the "fun" part. I don't like being cold, exposed, too hot, etc. I want my air conditioning, a good metal shell between me and the nutcases, my CDs playing, etc. I understand people enjoy it; I don't understand why, and I'll leave it to those who do.
