And a very nice weekend it was, overall. I got one work call all weekend (I'm on call) that took five minutes at most - and it took twice as long as it otherwise would have because I insisted on looking up the exact command instead of settling for "it exists but I can't remember what it's called" - which would have been enough to let him find it, but I knew I could find it fast.

Got the laundry done, including sheets and blankets. Read a fair bit, roleplayed a fair bit. Tried to go buy memory cards on sale at Fry's. They were out, and in addition, they were jammed. When am I going to learn to buy them for a little more some place you can get in and out with your sanity intact?

The Mage Sphere on Ephemera is being shut down. Shifter is not, but it's not going to be heavily supported in the near future, if it ever is. For a variety of reasons we decided to refocus. It needed to happen, but it sucks for some people, and they're understandably upset. So that added a bit of (not unexpected) stress to my weekend. Overall it was nicely counterbalanced by all the positive things, though.

Debating whether to see Harry Potter this week. Haven't had a chance yet. I could watch it on Tuesday or Thursday but would have to stay up past my bedtime to do so, since the theatres have a huge gap in showing it from 4:30 'til 7:30. I do wish they'd timed showings to at least one was at 7, or better still, 6:30. If not then, then probably the weekend, as Scott and I do want to see it.

I need to make an appointment for an eye exam in the next couple weeks so I can get more contacts, too - and maybe a new set of lenses for my glasses, since the ones I have right now have a crack. Then again, they've had a crack for a while and it's not getting bigger real fast, nor do I wear them often - only if the contacts bug my eyes. So if the prescription doesn't change, maybe not.

I really want to get out with my camera again. Next weekend or the week after when I have three days off, perhaps! I'm looking forward to my soon-to-be-here five-day weekend.... There's a park down in Salem I want to go check out, andI really would rather not check it out on a day that's a weekend day for everyone. You know?

See Harry! You will not be disappointed! ^-^

Yay about the five-day weekend, definitely. Why not make a trip up to scenic Vancouver?? ;-)
