Awake. Alive. The long weekend was wonderful. Grabbed the extra memory card for my camera to start it off, spend three days around the house just enjoying being home and lazy (and enjoying a "slice" of caramel-chocolate cake from the local store, which lasted me through four desserts/snacks because their idea of a "slice" and mine differ immensely). Scott and I spent a while playing computer games back to back. Didn't get the new AC as we decided we didn't really need it. My parents did and were very pleased with it - as I am with our existing AC!

I was on call for work, so couldn't go to a fireworks show more than a particular distance from home, and I couldn't find any public ones near us listed on the page I went to. So I wandered outside to watch the neighbors' fireworks anyway, and enjoyed quite a lot of free fireworks show - there were a few in the near distance (somewhere in Wilsonville) shooting up professional-quality into the sky. Really hope they were professionals, since that's illegal for just doing at home, here. But it was very, very pretty.

Spent quite a lot of time yesterday hanging out, roleplaying, and such. And Sunday I also roleplayed, plus, I got the new +staffnotes code in. It's cleaner and easier than +wiznotes was, it doesn't have the limit on how much text you can put in all notes total before they start breaking (the thing that started the switch!), and it has some really, really spiffy extras built in, so we can now put 'notes onto objects and rooms, authorize people to show 'notes that are on objects they don't own (note by note), etc. Which will be really, really handy and make life a lot easier.

And now it is Tuesday, which is my Monday this week, and I am off to finish getting ready for work.
