There are children's movies that work okay for adults, and I was hoping this one would be one of those, since the general obvious gist of the story is the sort I would enjoy. Alas, this isn't one of them; at least, it's far too heavy-handed and pushy about its message to work for me. It's a 90-minute movie. I watched it in about 45, with judicious fast-forwarding, and I don't think I missed much that way. I don't even care much if I did.
On the plus side, I can return that to the library as soon as I finish with notes from the one journalling book from that messed-up checkout, and then they won't have any more anomalous records. :)
