Mmmm, beadwork.

I think, after I post this, I'm going to go actually get the beads out and do something (Update: Thought better of this - I am on call next week and will do it then - roleplaying is awkward when on call, as I hate having to drop out of scenes abruptly). It's been quite a while. I've been browsing beadwork/jewelry sites today.... Just a small set of links (with comments) here for anyone else interested:

Necklaces by Valerie Hixson - check out hte dragon necklace top center! WOW. In her bracelets gallery, have a look at the one at the bottom. I'm not sure I'd even wear it, but it looks so cool flat, maybe it works....

Check out Jan Howard's work - in particular, the first picture of beadwork in the right column (second picture, since her photo appears at the top of that column) - the Topaz Lady Pendant. The bottle at top left is nifty, but it was the necklace that really blew me away.

Also, A Muse Ink - which is selling the patterns, but click "See the Bags" which shows more than bags. Ooo shiny.
