I have a pumpkin pie scented candle burning next to me as I type this. And the clouds moved off, giving me a moderately clear view of the moon, already a bit into the eclipse, a corner of it bitten off and shadowed, the rest orangeish. Only a moderately clear view because the stupid thing's rising behind the tree, as predicted. I'm not sure if it will be in clear sight from this window when it nears full eclipse. I think I'll go see about the bedroom windows, and possibly relocate if they give a better view.
Happy, hyper, happy. And I have two days of vacation which means my weekend has already begun!
Silly exchange from work today (after a typo in a bug report):
"Nonono, we don't condone slavery or anything like it. If they have a 'serfver' then we are NOT supporting that."
"This is a classless company."
"You can say that again. We definitely have no class."
