The Thursday Threesome - and yes, it's Wednesday where I am. Oh, well.
Onesome- Dashing through the snow: Do you get much snow where you live? Do you enjoy winter sports like skiing or would you rather stay in by the cozy fire?
No, we don't. The whole place shuts down for a couple inches of snow, or any level of ice. I don't care for winter sports at all...but I like walking out and looking at the snow, I love the soft falling of it and I love to watch it, from the inside where it's warm and (for suitably limited periods of time) while out in it. I wish we had more snow...but not much more, just enough for it to be a more consistently present part of winter.
Twosome- In a one horse open sleigh: Have you ever been on a sleigh ride or a carraige ride? Do you even like horses? Or would you just rather travel by your own two feet?
I haven't. I could care less. Horses are very pretty - but the idea of going somewhere at a slow pace and still seeing it from a vehicle...well, I think it's somewhat akin to being in a traffic jam, except it's all your fault for the mode of transport you picked. Riding horses I understand better, but I've no idea to do it myself. Walking is nice. Bikes are nice. Cars are fine. Horse-drawn conveyance...um, not with the alternatives, really. If it were a long way and a car couldn't be used for some reason, I s'pose.
Threesome- O'er the fields we go: What's the first thing that pops into your mind when someone says field? Corn? Football field? Outfield?
Data entry spot on a form. Sorry, but I've been altering the code behind those type of fields all week. Immediately followed by 'hay field' because I grew up near a bunch and they set my allergies off something awful. Which, being as I am off my antihistamines in preparation for allergy testing tomorrow, is also much on my mind. I am going to be SO GLAD to be taking those again.
