Open up your biggest playlist or (in my case) all your tunes. Take the first twenty-five and quote a lyric from each. Let people guess the tunes. When someone gets one right, strike it out and put the title beside it. (Actually, I'm going to put the title there, bolded, in that case.) CHANGE: I will just bold the lyrics, that way, people can still mentally guess if they want to. The comments will have the answers.

I did my entire collection from the desktop (which was handy), skipping instrumentals and those songs that, although they are on the machine, I never listen to ever. I also, where I thought a song was easy, tried to pick the most obscure line I could find, but that's because I'm a brat.

In spite of that, there are a few in here that as I typed them, I was pretty sure of a person or people on my list who would recognize 'em....

  1. I've been stranded in the combat zone
I walked through Bedford Stuy alone

  2. I tell you
    I love you
    I sing to you
    Bring to you
    Anything

  3. You can live without the aggravation
Ya gotta wanna win - ya gotta wanna win
  4. You better watch your step 'cause the path is steep
Better hold your breath cause the water's deep
  5. Just like every vision you neglected, every dream you left to die
Every hope that you rejected, every truth that was a lie
  6. He was poor as a beggar but he rode like a king
And sometimes in the evenin' I could hear him sing
  7. Her little pranks she did not deny,
To do so she would have had to lie.

  8. Hey, she give me love
And I feel all right, now
    You gotta toss and turn
In the middle of the night

  9. And I know (and I know), yes I know that it's plain to see
We're so in love when we're together

  10. And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars

  11. The seagulls started lifting
    Like an angry banshee choir

  12. Where deep in the desert twilight
Sand melts in pools of the sky
  13. I know your name,
    I know your skin,

  14. Let me dream in your footsteps
    Walk in your sleep
  15. And it's burning deep inside
    You'll find the answer
    In his eyes
  16. Traditions back
    Across the centuries
In a century where no one can explain
  17. They snack on innocence
    And dine on self-esteem
  18. And every time that I was down
    You would always come around
  19. Devil and the deep blue sea behind me
Vanish in the air you'll never find me

  20. Did you envy all the dancers
    Who had all the nerve
  21. There are lines upon my face
    From a lifetime of smiles
  22. i'm calling out your name
    but you never hear me
  23. Where a man's hope and sweat can earn him his vision
No child cries in hunger or dies from the cold

  24. They don't look real to me
In fact, they look so strange
  25. How soon spring comes
    How soon spring forgets
