I think, yes and no. I find it horrifying that it can happen at all, and of course, even after the backlash, there will be the fun of getting rid of it if it does make it on the books. And, the more it happens one place, the more it may encourage politicians to think it's okay to do things like that. Many won't, no, but some of the pro-lifers who aren't quite rabid .... well, they may fall over the line if some place shows them it's "acceptable."
