1. If you could have anything you wanted to eat for a day, what would you choose for your meals and snacks?
This comes as really good food, no effort on my part, and all dietary worries (ie, allergies, stomach touchiness, cholesterol, and weight) waived, right? Assuming that - waffles with maple syrup for breakfast (and maybe an egg over easy), lemon chicken over rice for lunch with a slice of lemon meringue pie after, shrimp cocktail for a snack, and then - mmm, I think roast lamb for dinner (was debating salmon patties), with mashed potatoes on the side. German chocolae cake for dessert.
2. Is there ever a dish/food or dessert you wanted to try but never had the opportunity, what is it?
Not that I can think of. I'm not all that adventurous, and when I do particularly want to try something, I generally do - since I don't normally think of it unless whatever-it-is is right there handy to bring it to mind anyway.
3. What's a dish/food or dessert you've tried that you wish you hadn't?
Hmmm. Crab meat in butter, actually. Purely because it had no taste of interest to me and, considering the price, I was supremely unimpressed. I prefer imitation crab to at least what was served that day. Disappointment is worse than merely disliking the food. (Quite a few fish dishes, though not all, have landed in that dislike category, though.)
4. Ever watch cooking shows? (i.e. "Great Chefs," "Epicurious," etc.)
Nope. Not even back when I still watched television.
5. Are you hungry yet?
Not really, but then, I had pizza not too long ago.
1. Describe the last time you were frightened:
Driving home today, during the merge from 217 to I-5, when for once everyone seemed to be driving sanely and then all of a sudden it went back to business-as-usual and they weren't. I wasn't the one who got cut off, and there was no accident, but sheesh.
2. What does your hair look like?
Long, light brown, straight or slightly wavy, fairly thick. No bangs. Split ends; I need to get a trim again soon.
3. Have you ever dyed your hair a new color?
NO. No hair dye. Nowhere near me. It takes too long to grow out my hair, which I love, to want to mess with it.
4. Do you like heights?
Not usually, no. I'm generally afraid of them. If it's safe - if there's a clear safety such as a rail or enclosure - then I am not afraid. But I only enjoy heights if being up that high offers some kind of exceptional view, never for their own sake.
5. Girl Scout cookies, candy bar sales -- what's the worst fund raising you've had to do?
I avoid fund raising if I can. I remember once we were selling something in grade school and I was all fussed about it and annoying my mother. I can't remember for the life of me what it is. I don't remember any other instances than that - I'm supremely unfond of fund raising in that sense.
