The last loads of laundry are running now - I'm feeling pretty good about getting everything done since this included a full tear-down and laundrying of the blankets/sheets/etc. Has to be done from time to time, but it is always a bit of a pain and I tend to get behind on laundry anyway, never mind with that also adding to it. Got some vacuuming done as well, which is ever a good thing.

I went this morning to the Japanese Gardens and had a lovely walk. Very peaceful and pretty. I even actually used the camera this time, though after so long without taking photographs, the results were understandably a bit pathetic compared to my usual. I did find two - flower shots both - worth posting, though. They're over at Buzznet. They'll turn up at [livejournal.com profile] bn_kyrielle eventually.

The funny thing is, I still have a free account there, because they simply will not provide the one thing that I want from the site - to be advertising free to my viewers. I don't mind if I see ads when I'm posting, I want others to be able to view my photos without that nuisance, though. I've poked at other sites but they don't have RSS feeds which I also want. If Buzznet were paid-only, I would start an account at one of the sites without RSS, however. The ads are a much bigger deal. I am just not willing to swap to a site with no ads and no RSS, that costs money, when Buzznet is free. I've emailed a couple and at least one is theoretically considering adding it. I am so swapping sites if they ever do.

(Buzznet says that they cannot set it so that paid accounts do not display ads to the viewer because some users are very popular and the bandwidth would cost more than the fee. Okay, so do like every other bloody site and charge a fee for a particular amount of bandwidth, with an option to pay for more. If you exceed however much bandwidth you bought, then revert to displaying with ads. Trust me, most of us won't hit this and would be quite pleased....)
