Playing World of Warcraft tonight. It's been buggy, going down a lot. Our server is apparently scheduled for maintenance and a five-day apology credit. This is something. At any rate, Scott and I kept getting knocked off and having to log back in, in a queue. It went really quite well for a buggy night, though. We didn't have a crash that triggered rollbacks, and no one got killed due to a bug. (I did have to wait a while to resurrect at one point, after a completely earned death, due to the lag/bugginess. And did you know your ghost can get utterly stuck, and since you can't res, you can't hearthstone? I was about to log out - which I gather would have reset me to the graveyard - when the res came through and I hearthstoned out instead. Being as I was still stuck, just no longer incorporeal.)

I am now in the infinite zone of pointlessness, waiting for the in-game mail system to acknowledge that I hit send about two minutes ago. I'm thinking it may not be worth the attempt.... :)

Update: Yay, it let the mail go through! :)

That's the main reason we switched to the Euro servers. (Well that and we have more friends t wants to play with on there.) Almost no lag and definitely no latency problems. I don't know what is up with the US servers (we were on a medium population RP sever there and we're on a medium population RP server here) but it's just night and day. Maybe it's because the servers are in Germany so get that obsessive German efficiency ;)
