...was interesting. I drove into what I thought was rain, then realized was sleet. Then it turned into hail. Hail. In April. At this elevation!
Played merry havoc with the freeway traffic; I'll even forgive my fellow drivers for this. Oregonians ought to know how to drive in rain, but I'll accept skittishness due to hail mixed with fairly heavy sleet that were, besides unusual, messing with visibility as well.
For bonus points, there were a very few cloud breaks....
...one of which was permitting the sun to shine, full brilliance, through the onslaught. Talk about visibility issues. :P
