I've been playing with the new styles, because I could. I mostly like Flexible Squares so I'm toying wtih the idea of keeping it, for the moment. I'm not sure I will, though - it puts too much space (needlessly) between entries on the page, in my opinion. That's the only thing I really object to, but I dislike the big wasted gobs of space - and I dislike having to scroll more to read. On the other hand, since it's not a customization option, fixing it would require me to get far more interested in styles than I am. So for the moment, I'm leaving it to see if I get used to it. If I don't, the style will probably go back to what it was.

Off to the Gardens soonishly.

[Edit: back from the Gardens. It's now 12:30 and reading my friends list is a pain. Plus, reading posts, it looks like there are no comments when there is that much blank space even if there are. Ick. Going back to Component, it has drawbacks but I like it.]

I had to come look. I've been doing style shopping myself and have discovered that every one of them has one little thing that makes them not preferable. And each little thing is different. And, like you, I'm not insterested enough to screw around with it that much.

Plus, I started out with squares and now, looking at yours, I can't remember what little thing made it not preferable. Geesh.

I remembered... it wasn't the spacing for me it was the inability to turn OFF the userpic for everyone of MY entries but keep all my friends' userpics on my friends pages. I will probably end up back at component, too.
