Drew has a sweater. It has a zipper. The zipper can go up when the tab is not pulled out, but can only go down (to come off) when it's lifted out, so it doesn't slide open by accident.

If the tab comes completely off, it is treated as in the "flat" position and the zipper can't go down.

Luckily, it was only a couple inches from open when we discovered it was stuck after the tab came off, and Drew was able to get out of it without it needing to be unzipped. And now I know I can trigger it with an unfolded paperclip and how, but really people? If the zipper tab comes off you need a paperclip or scissors to get the sweater off if it's fully zipped up, because the neck probably wouldn't fit over the head that way? Not cool.

So, Ian fell asleep. He's in the bouncy chair next to me at my desk. Scott was in the gaming room about 10 steps away, if that. But I wanted to tell him something *without* leaving Ian alone *and* without being noisy to wake Ian. So rather than simply calling out, or walking over, I texted him.

Whereupon there was a VERY LOUD chime from behind me. His iPhone was charging at his desk, and on max ringer volume. Ian was not at all disturbed by the chime OR by the ensuing laughter as I explained to Scott what happened.

For our anniversary, my parents bought a cake. More accurately, they bought us a replica of the chocolate raspberry cake that was served at our wedding, with only the decorations changed to reflect that it was a first anniversary cake. Made by the same place, and the same woman, who remembered the order from last year when Dad got part way through the description! Dad dropped it off today. It was gorgeous, and just as yummy as the wedding cake was. Of course, it took us a little bit to find that out because I insisted on photographing it first:

Scott made spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. Yummy.

I won't say the day has been productive - we've mostly spent it playing WoW and hanging out - but it's been fun.
