Tamora Pierce has a new book coming out...in audiobook format.

So far, fiction audio books have not worked very well for me, and non-fiction have. In part because I listen when I drive, and that means I sometimes ignore the book for a bit.

I may get this, I may wait until next year. It depends on pricing and how impulsive I decide to be. But I wish it were in dead-tree format now, I really do. I hope it's not hardcover when it comes out next year, though if it is, the library will likely get a copy at least.

But, yay new book! I wouldn't be so wistful/semi-disappointed about the format if I weren't excited about and wanting to read the book. So, I'll get to read it in time, in any case.

Yay! It's finally coming out! Though I agree that unless I have a really long car trip ahead of me or a long commute, I tend to prefer print books. But full cast audio seems like it might be cool. More like a radio play.

Also, I hadn't realized that she had a livejournal. I've now got it added. *bounce*

Though what I really want is the next Terrier book.

Maybe. I'm still dubious because I know I'll miss parts if I'm driving, and I don't really listen to books elsewhere. But we'll see - if it's cheap enough I'll give it a shot, if not I'll wait.

I want the next book in that series too! Early next year, I think? Definitely looking forward to it!
