Tamora Pierce has a new book coming out...in audiobook format.

So far, fiction audio books have not worked very well for me, and non-fiction have. In part because I listen when I drive, and that means I sometimes ignore the book for a bit.

I may get this, I may wait until next year. It depends on pricing and how impulsive I decide to be. But I wish it were in dead-tree format now, I really do. I hope it's not hardcover when it comes out next year, though if it is, the library will likely get a copy at least.

But, yay new book! I wouldn't be so wistful/semi-disappointed about the format if I weren't excited about and wanting to read the book. So, I'll get to read it in time, in any case.

Games.

As a bonus, the C&G reunion reminded me that I wanted Lunch Money and introduced me to a couple new games I wanted to own as well. They are, largely, playable with two people, so Scott and I can enjoy them without having to drag in extra people.

Tonight, we played Unspeakable Words. Which led to a quote that amused me, at least - we were playing on the floor in the living room, when the cat wandered in. "Babe, leave Cthulhu alone!"
