May 2008 be a happy new year, indeed; full of joy, hope, and blessings for all of us.
It's very foggy out; it's quite pretty. There's a fire in the fireplace and, while the living room is far from completely cleaned, the Christmas tree is put away and the other badly-needed cleaning was started yesterday. I'll continue it this afternoon or this evening; this morning, laundry is running, I have had a lovely breakfast of raisin oatmeal; when Scott gets up we will play World of Warcraft. We're going to visit his aunt and uncle around noon (the ones he couldn't go to dinner with on Christmas because of the weather), to say hi and to belatedly deliver their Christmas present.
Anticipation and hope are not a bad start to the new year at all. May the new year be everything we wish for it.
