My car has new tires. This is good, it needed them. Now it won't for a long while again. Only had to wait around an hour, not too bad. I like going to Les Schwab on Friday instead of Saturday, much faster! Filled the gas tank. Ow. (Still didn't rival the tires, of course, but ow.)
Got my allergy shots. (Fun...okay, not really, but they seem to have reacted okay.) Picked up The Hidden City: A House War Novel from the library on the way back. Stopped at Borders and picked up a couple books I'd read, enjoyed, but didn't own yet. Last time I'd checked they were still in hardcover.
Got a little bit of tidying done. Need to get rather more done, but that will be there in time.
It seems strange not to drive out to my parents' house but I'm no longer trying to get it ready to list, it's listed.
Tomorrow I will go partway there, however, in the interests of going to opening weekend of the Sherwood Farmer's Market. I can't tell from their web site if it is going to be worth the time to drive there, so I hope it is. There are two other farmers' markets that are more promising (at least, their sites have more info), but one is further away and the other is Sunday. I may go to one or both of those also, depending on my mood and how the Sherwood one works out. There will be more choices nearby later in the year. And of course a couple weeks from now I will be driving to Hillsboro each workday - Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, that will put a farmer's market within reasonable distance, once those start up. The Wednesday one in particular won't until mid-June.
I want to get another cat stand for these two crazies, because they can't share the current one. There's only one spot they like to lie. But all my options seem to have enclosed huts or tubes - and these two won't go into the tube, I doubt a completely enclosed hut would be better. I keep hunting for one. It's not like I urgently need it, they make do, and Apple has quite a ways to go before she succeeds in her seeming goal of denuding the top shelf. (She chews the carpeting off, the little minx, and leaves it scattered all over the floor.)
Got some laundry done, too, and I think I'm for bed soon.

The pollen out here in the desert is killer.

And yes, it was a very, very (usefully!) busy day.
