*yawns* Happy New Year, a bit early.

It's a couple hours to the new year where I am, but as I don't plan to be up at midnight (but hey, I got to watch the World of Warcraft fireworks, which they do every hour, so that's okay), I'll post this now.

2008 was a good year for me, overall. It wasn't perfect; nothing is. But it was pretty darned good. I hope it was kind to you as well.

Regardless, I hope 2009 is excellent. And if you're staying up to usher it in, or have stayed up to usher it in, enjoy. For me, I say good night. See you next year!

Michelle and I did something really amazing this year, compared to the last two years. We were both still awake at midnight. Last year we didn't even make it to 10:30.

She's already sleeping now, and I'll be joining her shortly.
