Tonight, Dreamwidth (a journaling site using a forked - derivative, for non-tech - copy of the LJ source, already heavily modified), went to open beta.
I now have an account - named kyrielle. I'm very predictable. I do not intend to move to DW as my primary journalling site: that remains here. I got the account to hold the name, and because a number of people I like are shifting there, or may be shifting there, for primary. I wanted to be able to friend them.
Depending on the integration tools, I may start using DW as a mirror of my LJ. I have no plans to do more than that and I am not yet sure if I will do that (I need to play with the journal import tool and the cross-posting tool there, and see whether I can do what I want without too much hassle).
But if you're on Dreamwidth and you want to add me, now you know. Mind, I will probably not read my reading list there as often as I do here, and if you're 100% cross-posting please let me know. In that case I will grant access there (in case I do anything with it), but I won't probably be reading you so I don't see your updates twice. :)
