I've already been asked what I want, Scott wants, and Drew wants for Christmas. And even what we want for Ian. (Not all by the same person, either.) Therefore, it is wishlist time. This is not a begging for stuff - we don't need any of this - it's just a "what'd be nice" for those who want it.
[Edited 11/25/2011: Scott's wishlist added.]
Me: Honestly, I'm happy with whatever (well, okay, within reason - I think you all know me well enough not to send mix tapes of variations of the "Christmas Shoes" song :). If you want an idea of the kinds of things I want - and watch the notes, on a few I really want EXACTLY that item or else nothing like it, but mostly I'm more general about it - my Amazon wish list is here. Or, you know, give me something you think I'll like, send me nice wishes, if you're local to me provide food or gift certificates to Cellar Door Market or offer other help. I suspect I'm going to be short of energy this Christmas, for some reason. :)
Scott: Has a (currently as I write this very short) Amazon wish list also.
Drew: Drew also has a wish list, complete with a list of things he likes. Make no mistake, he doesn't NEED any of this stuff (clothing is the closest, but it's not like we can't manage that) - but he'd enjoy it, I think.
Ian: Ian does NOT have a wish list. He's going to be a month old and he won't know the difference. He has a crib, car seats, plenty of hand-me-down clothing and toys courtesy of Drew, more than one baby carrier to be carried close to his parents in, a warm house to come home to, etc. If you want to get him something you are more than welcome, but he really doesn't need it.
That said, with Drew we suggested relatives might write notes / draw pictures for him for a quilt. I'd like to do that for Ian as well, relatives or otherwise, so if anyone wants to send a note or the like for his quilt, that'd be great. (I promise, I'll do one for my parents also!) I did this BEFORE Drew was born...and took over a year to get the quilt. So no rush this time even if you are going this route.
Edited 11/27/2011 to add: Also, I'd love to get a Harry & David fruit club subscription, of whatever length, for the family - light size only, please, more is more than we need (though if we end up with more, I'll share). Hard to wish list these as they come in different lengths and all. Please just the fruit, not their candy, nuts, pastries, etc. While I like candies and pastries (and have to avoid the nuts), it's the fruit I covet. :)
None of this is necessary, but I figured it was time to put it up for those who want it. :)
