Dreamwidth

Some of my friends on LiveJournal are moving to use Dreamwidth in addition to, or in place of, LiveJournal.

If you are one of them, I am also kyrielle on Dreamwidth, and I would love to know who you are there. Especially if you are cross-posting all material or if you are posting material on Dreamwidth that is not appearing on LiveJournal.

Also, if you are doing this or are contemplating it, and haven't already found it, Dreamwidth's FAQ section includes a guide to Dreamwidth for LiveJournal users.

I'm following you on DreamWidth and not on LiveJournal and have been for a while. You seem to still be following me over there, though, judging by where you comment. I mirror everything both places, so it's up to you where you want to read.

I have the same username there. I haven't really started cross-posting yet but it is a goal to transition soon. I'll be posting something similar in my own journal when I've made that transition, with a similar post to yours, so people who want to trim their reading list to only catch one can do so.

The import was beyond easy. I just need to get into the habit of crossposting more.

Yeah, it took me a tiny bit but I set up auto cross posting and just had to get in the habit of doing all my posting at Dreamwidth. I thought I'd miss clients more, but not really, and even less so now that I use the new beta posting form. Still, it took a while to break the habits!
