Happy New Year, Indeed.

It's off to a good start. I woke up this morning awake, and truly alert, and it was raining heavily (but not absurdly so) outside. It's just beautiful out there...I went out and wandered for a bit in the rain. Very pleasant.

And getting my contacts in was almost easy. I might even survive this. *grins*

Yay.

Got sceneage. Got the administrative stuff I needed to get done for work done, though I didn't make as much time as I meant to for other stuff. Got a little cleaning done around the apartment.

Survived another day with the new contacts. I like these. I hope the prescription is right - they'll need to confirm that on my appointment on Sunday. But I like them.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow, and working for Y. He's going to make some changes, which I maybe should have, but he knows better. I like them: it means I will have the pager every other weekend again, but, no weeks. That's not too bad. And that's only till M2 and R can carry it.

Today's scene was much fun. I'm glad I'm scening again, and not fretting so much about it. Big thank-you's to the folks who got me back to it, you know who you are. Even if it did make me so distracted I didn't do my work, it was good for my overall outlook and mood, which should help with tomorrow, no?
