Amazing what getting something done will do for your day....

The changes to a live site are in place and waiting to be activated (they wanted to wait till it was more convenient, which I can certainly do, though prior to 8 am my time on a Saturday morning isn't my favored time for work, I grant).

The code I'm writing this month? I'm at the end of phase one (the big nasty phase of getting it integrated in), have written up the document describing what it does, what it will do at the end of phase two, and some options for phases 3 through infinity (this really does open up a lot of possibilities - unfortunately, many of them can be used as bait when fishing...).

Okay, lousy attempt to reference a can of worms. Anyway. It is going pretty good. And I got it documented. I think I may have it checked in by the end of today, and I have survived (thus far) doling out tasks to other people. (Poor R. - he keeps getting ahead, so he often draws the unexpected bugwork. And he's good at it, too. Poor R - but lucky us.)

I emailed N. explaining that the document was ready and the code was not yet, but I was sending it to her now so she could review it.

Just after it sent, I groaned, and then I emailed her the document as well.

I do that way too often.
