And I have to learn to think better. Nearly every morning, I take my glasses off before brushing my hair (very rarely do I put my contacts in that early). And nearly every morning, I do this before getting my brush - which I then have trouble finding, and must feel around for.

Bah. Foolishment. I dreamed last night, but I don't remember what it was. Early start on a day; maybe early finished? We shall see but I can hope.

(I'd just started looking into a problem he was having with the system.)

My turn to cross my fingers.
Laura says:
Isn't it hard to type that way?
(Coworker) says:
I'm not a proficient enough typist that it really makes a noticable impact.

I wanted to put in the code. I can't; I can't connect in. I called in a request to the site to reset the thing, the person may be out, I'll try the other department in an hour or so.

I wanted to finish my code, but now I'm chasing a subtle bug in more important, already-in-use code. So far, in my test environment, I've made it a hundred times worse - now, instead of loading the data with a couple fields wrong? It loads the data not at all. That's not an improvement.

We had a nasty bug in a bit of stuff that needed to train tomorrow - the geo load was all screwed up.

Got it fixed. Got it working. It has a minor quirk which looks silly but doesn't affect system operation.

Whew.

Haven't heard back yet about moving the closing date up, drat it, I'm antsy. :)

Just got back from a very nice walk after work, but that's not what I'm glowing about. Got a voice mail left by our realtor. The sellers of the house have agreed to move the closing (funding/recording) back a week as we asked. The items we requested they fix have already begun to be addressed by a licensed contractor.

I am very happy.
